Who else wants a sports car racing game with realistic physics

Well I for one (or does that make three or four here so far) would want a PC
title like this more than any other single game.  Mainly as it hasn't been done
well.  And even if so, it can be done better!  To me, there is no more fun sim
than one that has a survey of real cars ranging from the very ordinary through
the ***s.  And throw in real tracks, not imaginary city/country scapes. How
about some good autocross courses?  Make them constructable.  The mediocre
sound of some of the GT series cars has been mentioned.  GT/GT2/GT3 also don't
cut it in terms of AI.  The racing can be absolutely maddening and atrocious.
And certainly some companies, you know who, could do a better physics model.
So, while I love the Gran Turismo series, I'd prefer a top-flight PC-version.

As to alternative console titles...  I've tried Sega GT, Tokyo Extreme Racer 2,
Metropolis Street Racer.  To me, they are either very different than GT or just
poor imitations.  Besides, why not a PC version where we can use our PC
peripherals?

Last, there's a half-dozen PC F1 racing sims, but that doesn't seem to keep the
residents here from waiting for the next!

cheers...

I agree totally, I would love to see a decent PC version on a similar,
road cars priciple. And NOT Need For Speed either...
