Okay...thanks, Ed./
Will you (or someone) be making some competitive AI?

That's fine for those who race on-line, but for those of us who don't it
simply becomes a Sunday drive.
(A pretty one, sure, but nothing more.)

I read on GPLEA that Sabre Team is making an AI for Bremgarten.
So the AI is in good hands now :)

Yes you do get wheel spin, so it's important to apply power s-l-o-w-l-y.
Also with the effect of narrower tyres on the trainers (I read this on
Alison's site) the brakes are not as effective. If you think you are
pretty good with the GPL F1 car you might find an F1 engine in an F2 or
F3 chassis (I call them formulas FY and FZ) pretty enlightening. I am
still crumby in the stock GPL F1 so it's doesn't matter which formula I
run, it's just a matter of when and where, not if, I am going to spin
off the track!

Well Bruce, since I have ZERO skill when it comes to designing tracks.
I appreciate all those who design FREE tracks for me to download and race.

Since nobody's taken it yet, I'd like to take credit for the F1/lease
engine combination being designated as  "FU"...

Bruce,

You wanna see *wierd*, try looking at the cobblestones from the F10 view:
zzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZ.  Oy, such a
headache!

So do I....most definitely.
But, as I don't race on-line, a working group of AI drivers DOES come in
handy.

F1 engine/F3 chassis might come close to replicating the traction of pre-war
cars, but don't forget those flivvers were as tall as telephone booths, and
the polar moment would put a 200-lb. bench press to shame!  Not to mention
the dodgy brakes and steering so wonky they probably had two inches of play
at the rim of those 19-inch steering wheels.  No wonder the***pits were so
capacious; drivers in that era had to have somewhere to put their b*lls!

As Tim Nightingale said, "Every corner at Bremgarten is a great corner."
Bring it on!

Wonderful track!  Damn the AI!  Full speed ahead!

"FU"?  There's PLENTY of those at the start of any VROC pickup race...<g>

I'm picturing my wife's face as we take a sunday drive through the woods
with the car topping out in fifth gear ;)

I agree, however... as a offline racer I need to have a decent AI to
compete against. I understand the Sabre Team at GPLEA is working on a
revamped AI.
