This is the current state of things though, whether this limit is
actually in the game engine, or it happens because of the way the tracks
are converted/made, I don't know, so things *may* change, just don't
hold your breath

I'd like to see Monaco for Nr2002 as well as some of the other GPL
circuits. Also some of the existing tracks, but edited. The banked
Indy is a nice addtion, if you dont' have it. Flat Talladega is a real
challenge too. I hear a banked Watkins Glen is in the works.
A nice GUI based track editor would be the ultimate, but I sense that
track creation is well beyond the normal users abilities. I remember a
game for the old Commodore 64 that was similar to stadium racing with
trucks (Destruction Derby??) and it had the BEST track editor I ever
recall. So simple to use.

installed an infield road course section in Zenjoltis, for example (which
currently measures just a hair under 5 miles), would the program then
time out as you indicate?

Please take this fwiw, I know *nothing* about the subject myself and
only pass along info that I've seen being passed back and forth between
some of the guys, and I probably don't get to see *all* relevant info,
just the Reader's Digest version :-)
