Better graphics, but only evolutionary, the roadside obstacles are still
blocky 2D sprites, and it's just as noticeable as the original. The bikes
and riders look _much_ better, and so does the on bike view. It ran very
slow for me, especially when there were a lot of bikes on screen (of
course). And this is coming from a guy who thinks 20 (twenty) fps is good.
You can pump up the res to 800x600 on a Voodoo 1, it'll automatically turn
off the z-buffer. The weather options allow you to turn snow on or off
(might be rain too in the full version, I would guess), and combine it with
Day, Night, or Fog. Same great gameplay, but harder to control because of
the slowdown. Let's just say I hop this is beta.

P166 MMX

Addendum: Like Digital Sportspage says, it takes more skill to control the
bikes. I actually had to use _brakes_ on the Grand Prix track. Also,
according to AVault, it's Pre-Alpha. Whew!
