NFS:PU a loophole?

NFS:PU a loophole?

I discovered that if you modify your car in evo mode then the cars available
to you in single player mode have all the modifications as well.

I modified a 996 with the supercharger and everything high performance. and
it now glues to the road and beats the doby*** to the line by about 5
seconds in the first track.

also, i encountered problems in buying inventory items and running the game
as the game would just exit when i press race.  Later, i solved this by
selling a few unwanted inventory items and the race started ok (ie with the
modified car)

I am running NFS:PU under w2k and its runs fine (except the the last bug
(?) )

haha that's the whole point of owning a car.  Remember that your owned cars
show at the top of the list and the original factory cars are at the bottom.

rms

available to you in single player mode have all the modifications as well.

There are a few bugs going on now.  For instance, if you drive a 1950-1953
356 model that you own, it has the performance of one of the 90's
turbochargers.  (Just check out the 356 track records at the moment)

I also found the available car list a bit confusing in single player mode
but if you read closely you'll notice that the list is divided between
"Onwed Cars" and "Factory Cars".  Owned cars with modifications (from
Evolution mode) drive a lot faster than their factory counterparts ...
yeeehaaa!  Just try driving the factory counterpart of your souped up Porche
model and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Not sure about your inventory problem.

NFS Porche Unlimited is THE BEST NFS game going at the moment (I'll even put
down GPL to play NFS PU :-)
