I have lookes at all the menus etc and can not find out how to save the
game...I see the location where the "Saved Games" are stored but How do I save
them...Thanks...

Every now and then between missions you end up in a hotel room. Use the
arrow keys (or the joystick) to turn around in the room until you see 'Save
game'. Unluckily (understatement of the year) you can't save after EVERY
mission.
