I have a Celeron 450A, 128 MB PC100 Ram, CL Riva TNT card.  I race full
field, graphics set to mid-level, mirrors every 2 frames showing cars and
track, few objects track side, 800x600.   I get 20-22 FPS at the start and
no less than 28 in traffic.  Practicing I get 36 FPS with all graphics on
and 1024x768.  Very satisfied with graphics.  Replays have some problems,
polys with no texture for example driver sometimes looks like a circle on a
stick.  During the game graphics are fine for me.  I'm a big fan of eye
candy and I like GPL Open GL better than SCGT D3D.

AAAHHHHHH
Blasphemy!!!  Rendition still has a great future in 3D.  Although it would help
if they could actually get a card out the door. But rendition rules, and will
continue ruling. Although a new card would help. And drivers that work. And a
little game support. But rendition rules damn it.

Denial is not just a river in Africa.

rendition doesn't rule, but it would be nice if they were in the game
again.  embedded memory, antialiasing, low cpu utilization ... could be
fun.  but then again many games won't run on any new rendition hardware
that comes out because they have no developer mindshare for testing.
