3D Video Card Question.....

Sure it's possible.  Each card will run their own native ported games,
and the 3Dfx will take over for Direct3D stuff.  The best Rendition
card is the Canopus Total3D, but it costs about $280.  Whether it's
speed and added features are worth the extra $110 or so is up to you.

3D Video Card Question.....

by Blaine Be » Fri, 21 Feb 1997 04:00:00

Hello All,
I'm just wondering if it is possible to
have a Rendition card along with a
3DFX pass-thru card. Will one cancel out the other?
also, which is the best rendition card available?
Thanks,

just gonna "slightly" upgrade from a
486 DX4-100 to a pentium 200 w\mmx
16 megs to 64 megs
already ditched the 28.8 in favor of a T-1 <ok, it's at work>
etc, etc, etc,
I just don't want to have a slow system anymore.
