No.....it was the physics of the accident....remeber the Wallace
accident at Talledega??? Well, the reason he wasn't hurt THAT bad is
because when the parts began flying, they took most of the potential
energy, and turned it into kinetic by flying off....in Scott's case, at
the angle he hit the wall, his car didn't fall apart, instead the
kinetic energy stayed with him....even if he was 20-30MPH slower, the
sheer angle still would have killed him....just like Senna in F1 (God
praise his soul)  if he had hit at a diffrent angle, the would have had
a better chance....
