Did TOCA Touring Cars fry my Monster 3D???

Hi there all,

I bought a Monster 3d recently, and it died after two days of use. Worked
perfectly, until I installed the GPL demo, and later tried to play a
championship game of TOCA. GPL worked okay. However with TOCA, the computer
keeps crashing (or I keep getting an illegal operation thing from windows which
closes the program).... but only when I try to play a championship type of game.

I returned, and got a new 3D card, but still have got the same problem. Is this
a known problem of TOCA (i.e. is there a patch for it?), and could this have
stuffed up the first video card?

Rick,

There is a patch that claims "Improved all round graphics card support",
but I don't know if it fixes your particular problem. You can get it from
Codemasters' web site.

Had the same problem; game crashed when entering championship.
I had the game installed on my secondary HD and realized that the game
HAS to be installed on the first harddrive (C:) in order to work
correctly.
