Standings problem with NASCAR 1

In NASCAR 1, when I go to the championship season screen that shows the
calendar and who one each race, if I highlight a race that has been ran
and hit enter to view the results, the game crashes.  It puts a bunch of
junk on the screen and changes to that very big font that is really
ugly.  Does anyone know what to do about this problem?  Please E-mail
me!

This happens on some systems. On mine it happens most likely when I exit
the garage. This also may be due to a slightly corrupt season.bin file.
