Hi guys,
has anyone played Newman/Haas Racing? It is available as a bargain in
Germany and I got no info on it.
Guess it is quite arcadish, but that wouldn't matter too much, if it's fun
(I need to relax from Viper now and then).
So, is it any good?

I have never played the game but I did see a review in PC Gamer magazine.
The game god a 34% rating I believe, it was in the low 30's. The reviewer
said that he liked the original Formula1 game for the PSX and that
Newman/Hass was rubbish not worth the purchase even it it was a bargain.

No, its really bad!
But I play it sometimes to relax from other racing games,but its maybe the
worst game I have ever bought, (but it was cheap)

I never played the game but did see a review of it in PC Gamer, a
respectable mag. And they gave the game a 34% rating. The reviewer said that
the game was just horrible and not worth it even if it was in a bargain bin.
And he liked the original Formula1 game by Psygnosis for the PSX on which
Newman/Hass racing is based.

I picked it up for $5 dollars US... Which is VERY cheep... About the price
of a decent Martini in a restaurant here in the US..... :-)

Although this game came out when 3D was still quite new... and the AI and
other features stink.. If you can find it for a similar price in your
country it's worth spending the bucks...

Let me put it this way.... A martini is enjoyable for about an hour or
two.... and so was this game.... After that you might wish to un-install it
and put it on the shelf... but it's a bit of relaxing fun during the mean
time....

I played the full verison on the Playstation, which was cack, and then
the demo on the PC, which was just as cack.

Nuff said!
