Whoa, that's bizarre.  Just like you, I have the original, and I talked my
friend into buying the new version, which he loves.  Slottweak's comparison
is right on the money for both of our versions.  I think the pedals on the
new version are MUCH better than the older ones.  I use CH pedals instead so
it doesn't bother me.

The problem I have is that my paddle shifter microswitches are on their last
legs - starting to miss shifts, they don't 'click' anymore, etc.  They would
be VERY easy to replace if I could just get the parts!  2 microswitches
mounted on 2 small PC boards.  Guillemot doesn't respond to my requests.  If
anybody has some spare, I'd love to buy them off you.

That is true but there is much more to the system than POV. Add ons
are nice but first and foremost I buy what I think the best basic
system is best. Now if I made the right decision I will be happy.
