>As well as the option to bar driving aids and the ideal racing line.

Why?  Most of the driving aids slow you down.  So, you'd have a better chance
if someone used auto-brakes, etc.  I use auto-shifting.  I realize it slows me
down to an extent, but I've also discovered that I wouldn't be able to shift
while fighting against the stagger on the ovals.  My shift buttons are on the
wheel, and it would be too awkward to use them with the wheel at such an
extreme angle.

I *think* I found it at Pocono Wednesday night.  I was following a car that got
loose and spun(warp induced).  I had to attempt to squeeze between the car and
the wall, and brushed the wall.  My car slowed down for a few seconds, but I
thought it was because of damage.  After reading about the wall 'glue', I'm
thinking that might be what I experienced...

I have been at California and brushed for maybe 1 or 2 tenths, then moved
away but quickly brushed again for 1 or 2 tenths. This all happend in well
under 1 sec altogether and I lost 7 places. We need an option to disable it
for league races where people dont cheat.

Wall Glue :( in N2002

That sounds about right.  Mainly because of the racing groove being
where it is at Darlington, it frequently happens there, though, from
all sorts of accidental behavior.  I see it at least once a race
befall other drivers, and it happens to me every once in a while,
sometimes my mistake, sometimes not.

The major problem is that once the car starts sticking, the driver
can't get off without cranking the wheel hard left, then the wheels
suddenly bite and the car shoots across the track in front of people
trying to get by underneath.

Or, the driver just rides it out and winds up at the turn exit going
90mph.

Either outcome is recipe for instant disaster for the driver and
usually AT LEAST one other driver following.  If all it did was cause
one driver to blow a lap, then it would be fine... but it usually
winds up ruining the race for other drivers who didn't have anything
to do with the original wall contact... this is the main reason it
needs to be revisited by Papy.

Having the option to disable it would be fine with me, for now, as an
immediate solution.
