Thanks Haq.  It's not so much for my benefit.  But children should NOT
be exposed to such a lying rat bastard.  So again, my thanks.
Dave(Whose looking out for the kids?)Henrie

p.s. I'd watch re-runs of a Zanardi interview a 100 times before suffering
one session with the LRB

Rarely do I agree so completely with someone as I do now.
TG should step in front of a bus.  Soon.

I'm curious Dave, did you catch any of the interview? (The Art of War says
keep your friends close and your enemies closer mind you)

If there is anyone that can perpetrate a lie better than this guy, his name
would have to be Bruton Smith. I guess what they say about the rich being
*different* holds true, especially in the case of TG and BS. They've gotten
it to such a science that no one sees them for what I believe them to be,
pathological, is the term I think is most applicable. Tony's time in the
Wind Tunnel was eeriely like Bruton's, glossed over come-backs, not
answering the questions really asked of them, and their general overall
'holier-than-thou attitude'.

No, that is a good point, but I have no power over the lrb so I abstain
as much as possible from listening to anything he has to say.  Best retort
I can think of is racing is entertainment, and relies on fans to prosper.
What business plan is it that suggests PISSING off the most ardent and
knowledgeable fans to achieve one's goals?
I had a small fools hope that the poor first few years of irl would doom
it as a grand failed experiement.  But the moment he bought Unser Jr's
services, I could see the end.  I will cling to  the Champ Car World
Series, but I hold very little hope for it's continued long run, Just as I
see the elephant that is Nascar eventually squashing the ALMS.
I'm always on the wrong side it seems.  Time to find another windmill to
joust with.

Hang in there.  The "wrong side" often needs all the support it can get.

And as long as you are willing to aim your lance at TG instead of
windmills I'll gladly accompany you on the next adventure.

Both of them are perfect examples of why so many sanctioning bodies
have been formed specifically to keep the track owners from having too
much power, since very rarely are the best interests of a track owner
or promoter the same as the best interests of the teams, drivers, and
sport as a whole.

Well  .  .  .  I have enough of a sense of honour to accompany you in your
valliant efforts against the evil one but  .  .  . um  .  .  . er  .  .  .
how shall I put this ?

When it comes to the fair Dulcinea it will be every man for himself !    ;o)
