As a married man with two young kids, I don't have much time to
practice GPL, and if it's the last thing I do I am going to get
competetive times at it!!
Now, the most frustrating thing for me is that I want to practice
certain types of corner again and again. But, race tracks being race
tracks, I have to complete whole laps to get to re-try the same corner
again (and I often make mistakes at other corners, rather than the one
I am trying to practice).
To solve my dilemma, I would like three different tracks, representing
the different types of corner that I have problems with:
a square - for reasonable amounts of trail braking
a hexagon - to perfect drifting the car through high speed turns
a triangle - to perfect relatively hard braking
I am quite prepared to build these myself, but don't have a clue where
to start. They wouldn't have to look pretty, but I would want to make
sure that they constrain the driver sufficiently into taking the
"right" line (i.e. prevent cheating).
Can anyone suggest either a) somewhere that I could download these
from (GPL track database doesn't have any) or b) where I can find
resources to help me to build these simple tracks or even c) has
anyone already created these and can they send them to me!?!?!?
Thanks for your help!
Matt
