I've suspected it for a while but you just confirmed it.  Man, you are a sicko.
:)

Wings are for airplane and chickens.  Not cars.

Road race?  Yawn, wake me up with 3 to go...

Actually, even though I'm a member of the Bowtie Brigade, I think that there might
be something with the idea that ford might have a disadvantage.   OTOH, take a good
look at the winning teams.  DEI is definitely an up and coming unit, and if you put
$1M on the line each week he'd probably win half the races.

The one thought that does scare me is what's going to happen when Dodge gets it's
engine package sorted out?  For something new as that to be contenders right out of
the box is scaring.  Particularly when you consider it's lead team is one that just
last year was one of the laughing stocks of the paddock.  I think before the year
is out they'll lose a little bit of spoiler.

Of course, the demise of the Rouschkateers is a huge thing.  If they come back they
could be a force.  Or, they could remain a farce.  Is it possible that ford is
throwing away the first part of the season, hoping to get some help and then making
a run?  Possible, but not likely.  Could end up giving up too much ground that they
can't take back later.

I agree with the you on the Dodges.  Those boys look damn impressive so far.
Of course if you have 5 or 6 teams work together in R&D then you'll get some
results much quicker.  I read some stuff where Chrysler orchestrated all the
testing, data sharing, and the like so all the teams would benefit from one
testing.

And of course, there's that Ray Evernham thing too.....

But if Ford isn't doing as well as they want, they should just work harder.  In
my opinion, crying to NASCAR just means they can't win without help.  They
should shut up and work harder.  And I'll say it again - if NASCAR wants
everything totally *even*, make the races SPEC races.  Everyone gets the same
car, and the best team and driver wins.  These constant rule changes to give
one team an advantage, or take advantages from another are absurd.  Don't
punish a team because they got it RIGHT...or help another because they got it
WRONG...sheesh.
