Okay... this is freaking unbelievable!! The review has been changed

This quote's hilarious:
"Highly recommended if you're a rally fan! Immensely fun if you have a
steering wheel and pedal set. This is probably the first rally sim to date
in which a wheel is actually useable, and probably superior to keyboard."
A racing sim where a wheel is probably superior to keyboard.... would you
believe it!!! :))) What kind of an idiot is this???
Cheers, Hans
"The car handling is just not as realistic... The cars don't seem to want to
turn when you are braking at the same time."
"Also the brakes feel like they don't slow you down fast enough, and the
gravel track in the demo is a tad too slippery. But that could just be me,
as I'm used to the more arcade-like car handling in the Colin Mcrae series."
heheheh.. He was forced to admit that he's used to acade like driving.
Good stuff folks for those that complained!!!
So Cronk, what do you say now?
Andi.

"A fun demo, but unfortunately the game doesn't live up to the hype the
publisher created.
According to the publisher, Richard Burns Rally is the most realistic
rally sim to date in terms of car handling, physics, and graphics.
Unfortunately, after playing this demo, I must report that this is not
the case at all. Colin Mcrae Rally 2004 or the recently released 2005
are both superior in terms of handling and physics, while the graphics
are equally as good when comparing the two franchises.
So, what's wrong with Richard Burns Rally? The car handling is just not
as realistic as I had hoped. In fact, it doesn't really come close. Four
wheel drive turbo vehicles (especially Million-dollar WRC cars) have
some of the best handling of any race car. Yet in this demo, the cars
handled more like old station wagons. The cars don't seem to want to
turn when you are braking at the same time.
The steering tends to oversteer when you first tap left or right, and
then understeer once you actually start to turn. This makes it very
difficult to accurately bring the tail out and slide around corners as
you will usually oversteer. It also doesn't help when you are trying to
correct a slide, as you have to then fight the understeer.
Recommended if you're a rally fan, and good fun for a quick thrash
around the tracks in this demo, but unless they make changes to the
driving model I wouldn't recommend purchasing the game based on this
demo alone.

I do a healthy 12km to work and back total every day on my bicycles
(with a 20min. train ride in between), and there simply is no better way to
get to work and back then cycling (if you have the right
clothing). I've tried it all, car, Honda CX500, but the bike / train /
bike combo rules. You arrive fresh, in good shape and thoroughly woken
up, even after a rough night out with the lads. People should try it
sometime.

I didn't really agree with his original comments especially with
regard to CMR's physics being superior, I was just trying to wind you
guys up. :P
I tried it but arriving at work in Summer sticky and dripping with sweat and
then having to spend a day in an office in that state isn't the most
appealing of things...
