No, 3D. If the car can leap off the track (flip in the air) then it is
using a 6degree of freedom physics engine I believe.
Well... that does depend upon if it can go in *the other* directions
aswell - dont it?

Well, it could be a hardcoded special effect in some games I suppose. But
can the cars in N3 flip in the air? Nope. SCGT is a 3D physics engine and so
is GP3, that I know for sure.
