Why do people go into a GPL race through VROC, set the pole time and
then quit? Is it to show how pitiful us ordinary mortals are? They
certainly don't get the track records on my box - they're all taken by
the Star Trek vessel times - 6.66 at Monza and 34.15 at Spa (warp factor
9, Scotty).
Come on guys, if you sign up for a race, see it through. Some of us are
still using old fashioned modems and can only support 4 racers. By
taking up that practice place, you often restrict the race to 2 or 3
drivers.
Thanks,
Paul

Hey, hehe, that happened to me few times....
But that wasn't done with intention :o(
I WANTED to race, but got disconnected and couldn't reconnect because
someone
else connected ....

It could've been a great race :o)

How about they run an opening lap of 8:40 at the 'Ring, pull over
at the S/F line, wait 25 seconds for the next car to come by (me),
then disconnect.  Kind of hard to blame that on an unintentional
disconnect.  I thank him for the win, though.  :)

"But in a way, fear is a big part of racing, because if there was
nothing to be frightened of, and no limit, any fool could get into
a motor car and racing would not exist as a sport." -- Jim Clark
