Any GPL track enhancement?

Any GPL track enhancement?

Hi guys,
I have noticed another post looking for hi-res skies for GPL. Someone
pointed this person to a very nice sky and horizon for Monza and Spa. Are
there anymore skies like this for other original GPL tracks (like
Silverstone and Mosport)?

Also, what about general track graphic enhancements? Are there any around?

Thanks for your help.

Don't tell me you are still playing GPL in stock form!

I have more links at home but try www.GPLPP.com for starters, and
magnust.d2g.com for addon tracks

You can download a number of track graphics enhancements from RSC at:

Yup, me too (pretty much). I have installed some better dashes (so I can
actually read the dials) but that's about it.

Ok Guys ... thanks for those. Though, all those links (and no thumbnails)
are very overwhelming and I have no idea what to get ... I don't want to
download 'everything'. Can anyone point me to the good ones or point me to
somewhere where I can see what these 'enhancements' look like? The place I
got the sky/horizon for Monza and Spa has a picture of each and by that I
knew that this is something I wanted to download.

ps. 'my' GPL has had all the cars enhanced ever since ... it's just the
original tracks that are still in their original form. I am very happy with
most of them as they are and it's really just the sky/horizon at Silverstone
and Mosport that bellow par (come to think of it Mosport does not look that
crash hot even though I do love the track).

Any GPL track enhancement?

Me too...until this weekend.  Went looking for better dashes and ended
up downloading the JFcarsets and GPLCSM. Everything worked fine, both
online and off, no drop in fps (V5 and xp1800).  Just made sure that the
2d wheels and 2d helmets were installed for each car.  GPLCSM makes it
easy to switch swap parts, even back to the original config (or just
back up your cars folder).  The change in the***pit views were pretty
dramatic.  Many thanks to the people that put this stuff together.

Didn't improve my laptimes though. ;-(
