TNT and framerates

I have an Nvidia TNT card (64 model with 32Mb onboard)
Currently running GPL version 1.2 with an average fps of 35.

Anyone out there know of a fix to get the mirrors sorted out. They
constantly flicker. I have played around with the mirrors settings in the
core.ini file.

I have the latest drivers from the Nvidia site (Detenator 3.53).

Any help would be deeply appreciated

I have a Nvidia TNT card but no problems with the mirrors, just with my
driving(!), in the core.ini file OpenGl section Ive set "MirrorsEvery" to
4, no problems. Though I have never updated the nVidia-drivers.
