Diamond Monster II Problems

OK, here's the problem - When my 3D card listed above has to do too much
work I get horrible block trees, little black spots in the sky and blotches
on the track (sounds like an acid trip!). It happens only occasionally, but
always on specific tracks, like Monaco in F1GPRS2 (it's like driving through
a forest!), or some of the McRae stages. I turn down the graphics, but still
these glitches occur. I know I have the latest drivers for both the 3D card
and my S3 Virge, so what can I do about it?

It sounds as though you may have a heat problem. Try running with the
case off, if that works and you don't get any graphical glitches then
you need to improve the airflow in your system. Without knowing what
you have it is probably best to get more air out of your system than
putting more in it. You may also want to consider a fan for your
voodoo, I hear tenmax are good.

Good luck.

There is this S3 and V2 patch that fixes all bunch of things. I don't think
it's the overheating problem!
Check the 3dfx.com for the patch...
