I'm thinking of doing a bit of F12002 with the mod installed.
( I used to race GPL (2,5 years) but my work got to demanding )
Do the cars ( mini' alfa147 or lemans cars ) feel diffrent ??
Or is it a F1 car with a diffrent skin ???

Wrong priorities there... ;-))
Can only speak for the GTR2002 and Turbo mods, but the cars, in my
experience are individual. F1 2k2 being an F1 game underneath is apparent in
some ways, but not really in the handling of the cars.

The better the mod, the more different they feel. But they all suffer
from the core problems of f1 2k2. Right now, GTR 2002 is better than most
comercial stand-alone sims. Alfa is fun, gear-screaming slugs. :) the
BMW M3 mod is getting good feedback...some guys run it regularly on Friday
nights.
The price of f1 2k2 is so low that it's almost a crime how much MORE
simming you can get out of it.
