After installing and enjoying GPL for 4 weeks with no problems(other than
staying on the track) I took my computer in to have a printing problem
checked out. They suggested, and performed a reformat of the hard drive.
Then reinstalled Windows98. Then installed GPL, and now most of the track
surface and grandstands are completely black.
I have deleted and reinstalled 3 times. System is PII350, 64 mgs, Diamond
Monster 3DII 12 mg.(remember, I ran for 4 weeks with no problems) What could
have changed?

Thanks in advance,
Scott Hieronymus

I believe you should install driver 2.03 instead of 2.05 or something to that
effect.
Check some older posts at the Apex.

Try this:  Goto display properties then background and set wallpaper to
none, than change the display setting to 16bit hicolor.  This worked for me
in WIN98 using ELSA Victory II agp Banshee.

Seems like wallpaper in win98 causes texture trashing in gpl.

Hope this help

BTW:  This game is awesome baby!

Where can I get ver 2.03?  I can only find 2.05 at Diamond's site and my CD has
2.01?
