It's not something you can argue. It's all a matter of personal preference.
Personally, I think the cars are ridiculous since they bare no resemblance
to anything that anyone would want to drive in everyday life if given a
choice. As for the tracks, well, ovals are boring to me. Simple as that.
To make a comparison with golf, driving a race on an oval is like doing an
entire round on a putting green.

Hmm. It felt like a big step up for me. The physics are the best I've felt in
any sim period, the AI are infinitely better than before, all kinds of graphics
improvements have been made, and things will only improve in the sim for years
to come since it's the last in the series. That sounds like it'll be worth my
money...
