No, just spent the whole time dodging rednecks that were spinning out. ;)

Right... none of the drivers you met offered you serious competition, so
this form of racing is boring.

Uh-huh... very well thought out argument, redneck.

It's not something you can argue.  It's all a matter of personal preference.
Personally, I think the cars are ridiculous since they bare no resemblance
to anything that anyone would want to drive in everyday life if given a
choice.  As for the tracks, well, ovals are boring to me.  Simple as that.
To make a comparison with golf, driving a race on an oval is like doing an
entire round on a putting green.

How soon do you think before they pull 2k2 compatibility? I'm in a N4
league thats was about to switch to 2k2. Since i tried the 2k3 demo
though, I'm actively pushing we go with this instead.

Funny, That's EXACTLY how I feel about watching F1 racing.
You obviously do not enjoy side by side racing.

Hmm.  It felt like a big step up for me.  The physics are the best I've felt in
any sim period, the AI are infinitely better than before, all kinds of graphics
improvements have been made, and things will only improve in the sim for years
to come since it's the last in the series.  That sounds like it'll be worth my
money...

Passing maneurvres in F1 are a thing of beauty.  They requires careful
planning, strategy and skill.  In NASCAR it's a case of, "Damn, he drafted
me.  Oh well, I'll draft him back."

They beauty of F1 is you only have to watch the first lap. After that the
racing is over and its just a parade without the clowns.

I would think going to 2003 would be the smarter move. even if cost is an
issue. If you pay $20 for NR2002 now in a year you will want 2003. Even if
2003 drops to $20 in a year (which I doubt since its the last one) that
would still be a total of $40. So you might aswell take your $40 and get
2003 when it hits.  If you are low on hardware you will just have to turn a
buch of stuff off, but it should still look as good as nr2002.

I'm sure on a rainy day in London, you'd rather drive a Nascar than an F1
