NFS cheat codes?

What ever happened to the codes and/or files that allowed you to turn any
car into the bonus car?  Also someone passed on to me awhile back a
special file that would allow one to run NFS from the hard-drive without
having to use the cd.  Please re-post, I've been offline for awhile.
