IS ANYONE OUT THERE INTERESTED IN DRIVING AN 800HP PORSCHE OR MAZDA RX-7 OR
ANY OF THE NFS CARS FOR THAT MATTER? WELL, I DO IT ALL THE TIME... I'VE
FIGURED OUT A WAY TO MAKE ANY OF THE CARS HAVE THE ENGINE, DRIVETRAIN, AND
HANDLING OF THE 800HP BONUS CAR. IN OTHER WORDS IT WILL LOOK AND SOUND LIKE
SAY... THE PORSCHE, BUT WILL GET 0-60MPH TIMES OF 3.3 SECONDS, TOP SPEEDS OF
OVER 260MPH, AND PULL IMPOSSIBLE G-FORCES WHILE STICKING LIKE GLUE TO THE
PAVEMENT AND STILL WEIGH ONLY AS MUCH AS THE PORSCHE OR WHATEVER... POST OR
E-MAIL IF INTERESTED...

Is anyone out there interested in driving an 800HP PORSCHE or MAZDA
RX-7 or any of the NFS cars for that matter? Well, I DO IT ALL THE
TIME... I've figured out a way to make any of the cars have the ENGINE,
DRIVETRAIN, and HANDLING of the 800HP bonus car. In other words it will
look and sound like say... the PORSCHE, but will get 0-60MPH times of
3.3 seconds, top speeds of over 260MPH, and pull impossible G-FORCES
while sticking like glue to the pavement and still weigh ONLY as much
as the PORSCHE or whatever... POST OR E-MAIL IF INTERESTED...

Do you actually think that you were first. I wrote 2 weeks ago about my 800hp acura.
I can tell you here how to do it !!!!
In the directory "SIMDATA\CARSPECS", rename TRAFFC.PBS with what ever car you like.
For example: copy TRAFFC.PBS ANSX.PBS. Now you have a Acura which looks like a Acura do,
but feels and behaves like a Warrior. No Abs, but with traction-control (lame)
You have to have all the files on your harddrive, so you can write on them.Without the movie-files,
the game is prox. 70 Mb.

First of all, what you just told people does not work. This is because
even when you install EVERYTHING, the installation program does not
install the \frontend\MUSIC, \frontend\MOVIES, or the \simdata\carspecs
directories. So, you would have to copy them yourself and edit the
\gamedata\config\paths.dat file changing all the d:\'s to c:\'s. Then
you also have to write protect the \simdata\carspecs\by_r&t file so
that the game is stable and does not crash. As for me thinking I am the
first, I didn't notice your message, and I guess I am because your
little plan would not work on anyone else's computer. Last of all, with
everything installed except the MOVIES and MUSIC (Which are between
185-200 megs together), the game takes up about 115 megs NOT "prox.
70". Do you actually have the NFS CD-ROM, or do you have some
hacked up, copied version? (No offense, just curious...)
