Well, you'd better amend this post two, because you're sounding arrogant
again.

Seriously, though, read your original post and just image what you would
have said in response to it.

I've heard a lot of things in various groups, but never something like this.

The real kicker was when you asked, parenthetically, for a USB wheel also.

You are a true Martyr.

But consider, if you didn't have crappy ol' AOL (which says wonders about
the type of person you might be), I might be able to help you with GPL.

It probably wasn't *what* he asked for, but *how* he asked for it that got
people miffed.

Look, I'm not kidding around here! The next time you're out in the canoe
passing thru the south Pacific just pop in. Failing that I'll just air
freight them to you.

Two years ago the atmosphere here was so different.  This was a fairly common
thing then and what was so special was people helped out.  Even he did.  He was
one of those dudes that gave his stuff away and now look...  Can't believe this
thread has turned into this.

Agree.. this gentleman did NOTHING to deserve the lashing and ridicule
he received here. I'm sure he expected a couple of digs but not the
vitrol that was dumped on him. I have an old TM gameport wheel and a
gameport to USB adapter I would gladly GIVE to someone less fortunate
than I that wants to race, along with a copy of GPL.Not sure how XP
will do with this setup, may work great may not... Win98 using the
gameport, it will work perfectly..  If that works for you Tony all I
ask is the cost to mail it to you, most likely around $10 in the US..
Email me if your interested.

Ah, there we go.  The old ras spirit is still here I see, just not represented
by the majority any longer.  At least there are a few kind folks*** out
here still :-)

Nice to meet you Gary.  Why don't you, me and Tony get together for a virtual
bowling game or something sometime ;-)
