Yer in luck...I've been waiting for mid Ohio,  I'll have to go check it
out...thanks for pointing out it was released.  Now to your problem.
LeMans is a Beeg Sucker...too big for SCGT's normal usage.  What you have
to do is lower the # of cars.  If you just run the stock SCGT cars, then you
won't have to lower it much, but if you are using high polygon count
privately made cars, then you will really REALLY have to lower the # of
cars.  Try 6.(I use ONE Custom Ferrari-Judd and 6 or 7 default gt1 cars.)
They did post a tempoary file replacement that is supposed to lower the
detail and let you run more cars, but whenever I tried that, it just gave me
several errors.
Another thing that allowed me to ADD one additional car was to use
Enditall2.  however, if I tried to run a second session with the extra
car...boom, back to the desktop.  (this is with 196 megs...if you have more
you may have better sucess, and if you have less...well there's always
sightseeing...Also..don't practice or Qualify, those haven't been
implemented yet.(unless you like the AI taking control of your car and
driving around France in 2nd gear)

Practice and qualifying at Le Mans work perfectly for me.

Here is what I did finally to get it to work.  I took 5 of my favorite "add-on
cars" and set up a new directory.  I rename the patch directory and rename the
other one to patch (5 cars).  I set up a new driver and bought my 5 cars.  I
just manipulate the directories if I want LeMans.

Question though, I have to set the video really low to get it to work.  Is it
my computer or the track?

Seperate question on Bathhurst--it starts me behind the pit wall and after iI
"drive thru" the wall I am fine..again..me or the track?

I am new to this patching and adding on stuff so any help appreciated..TIA

Bathurst for SCGT has a very small pit lane.  ONce again reduce the # of
cars to about 10 or 12 and you should be able to race normally on the
straight.  There used to be a website that displayed how many cars each
track could handle before problems like this showed up.  Anyone have a URL?
