Hey its not bad though, maybe I was just expecting too much.

Look in the menus...remove all of the helps like braking shifting, etc.
ther is also another box for more realistic driving...

Don't ya think if he meant gp2, he would have said gp2? Maybe it was a typo.
<g>
As for Cpr, i think it has great potential. The sound, interface, and garage
options are excellent imo. But the driving model makes it too twitchy at
speed, and too unresponsive at low speed imo.  I spent the whole day
yesterday trying to hone a setup that would get me thru the corkscrew
without the car feeling like a mac truck, all to no avail. I was still of
the mind that it was a setup problem till i read John Wallace's review of it
elsewhere on the ng, which i think nails it.... Oh well, just when I thought
M$ was gunna pay me back for all the "blue screen's of death" <g>.....But
the good news is i pick up my p233-tx2 m/b tomorrow,<bg> then it's back to
dos for me. <g>

Abels you might want to check out The APEX at http://www.quiknet.com/~joja/
It has lots of setups for Laguna Seca which make the car feel great and
fast. I would especially recommend Sasa's setup for Laguna. He has a fast
time and the car turns in very well at the corkscrew and turn 11. You might
want to also make sure that you are not trail braking into these corners.
Sometimes staying on the brakes into these corners will cause the car to
push real bad.
There are also recommended configurations for steering wheels to make the
steering feel better.

Just a reminder - the <default> setups for each track
are very average - we recommend you develop your own,
use the <sample> file(s) included in the garage drop-down
list or go to some of the superb sites now supporting CPR:-

http://www.quiknet.com/~joja/

or

http://members.home.net/getzen/

Just like the real thing, a good setup makes all the
difference.

There are some great articles on steering setups too.
