Has anyone ever crashed..... ( OK.... I know most of you must have crashed
somewhere along the learning curve ! AND lost their engine sound....it then
has a whoosh,,,, sound BUT the tach shows the engine is running ! The only
way to recover is to exit and restart... Have I killed the motor??? If so, I
didn't know I could do that !

BTW, I have a HP P166 MMX with 2.1 gig HD and 32mb of ram and I haven't had
any other major problems with GPL....

Try setting "max sounds" to 5 instead of max. Worked for me and my P-166MMX oc
to 225 and AWE 64 Gold, with 64MB RAM.
