Steering Wheel reviews, part II

Thanks, folks, for all your input...

Have data on just about everything, except one...the Saitek R4 Force.
Anyone have that, and can rate it?  (See The Pits news page for rating
scale)...

And even though I think I already know the answer, no one who had a
TSW wheel replied...so can someone give me a rating on it?

Cheers!

I've got the original TSW (as opposed to TSW2), and ordered it with the
paddle shifters.  I bought it after using a TM NASCAR Pro Wheel for a
while.  Although the TM wheel was fine, there's no comparison between it
and the TSW.  The TSW is a lot more solid, but it should be, considering
the added price.  The TSW pedals have a nice comfortable feel to them and
I don't need to brace then against anything to keep them from moving
around on me.  (I had to brace the TM pedals).

Maintenance on the TSW is also easy, and this is coming from someone who
is "mechanically-chalenged".  I've had it for about 9 months under fairly
heavy use (although not as heavy as some here would give it), and only
recently had to replace the pots -- It was easy.

Remember, I'm talking about the TSW, not the TSW2 which is less
expensive.  I have no experience with the TSW2, so can't comment.

I have the TSW2 and love it.  Solid, precise, comfortable and reliable.  I
believe it is the best value on the market.  For $220 you get a mostly
metal and wood unit with a life time warranty.   The added bonus is when
you want more features you don't buy a whole new wheel, you upgrade the
one you have.  Some day I'll probably get the clutch pedal, Momo wheel and
pedals, paddle shifters, etc.  I am extremely satisfied with my TSW2.
Rating 9 out of 10.  Only negative is the standard pots where junk.  Since
one failed during the 1st month they sent me a free set of 3 DK pots,
which are now the standard pots.  The DK's are really good, too bad they
weren't using them when they built my wheel.
