If you don't want the "hassle" of actually putting it together yourself,
see if you can find a local shop that will build it with parts to your
specs, that way you still have the warranty of a shop as well as a PC
built from parts of your own choice
Some really bad grammar there, but I'm too lazy to correct it right now

I've built my last 8 computers myself so I figured I owe myself one
off-the-rack. Not Dell or Gateway or Compaq; prolly Falcon or Alienware. I
like to go the store-bought route when switching OS's (did that last when I
went from DOS 8 to Win95).

I've got a question. Sorry for bothering you with this, but I just can't
figure out what makes this particular tool so special?
Icon position restore tools have been around for a long time, and in great
numbers, like for example 'Gerico' or 'Restore Desktop'.
If someone could please take the time to explain why this tool is so much
better that everyone wants to have especially this tool instead of just
going to zdnet and download one of the others, I'd be utterly grateful!
Thanks in advance
Achim
I think you're reading too much into it. The simple fact of there being
_something that can do this is enough. I can't really see a need to restore
your desktop icons' position _better.
Plus it's really small & free.
