Thats what I needed six.  I had just given up even getting near a curb :)
This guide helped me knock over 2 secs off my PB in just a few laps (didnt
realize how bad the default setups actually are till now).  Now I can tweak
and have an idea what Im doing.  The one place this guide fails though is in
the dampers.  Any help on what the different damps do on the track?
Thanks

Mitch

If you can still find it somewhere (or maybe you already have it) read
Arnao's GTR physics guide, it's a .pdf file that has a short but very
thorough section on damper settings.

What chassis do you drive?

Ferrari.

BTW I pulled or was sent a setup (info overload) but I believe its Ian test
setup.  Anyway within 10 laps I hit 1.18 (before today pb was 1.22+).  OMFG
I cant believe how nice it drives at these speeds.  Now I have something
to work with.

Thanks so much guys!

I did a dozen laps in the Minardi with my default seutp and am getting
near 1:19.  I'll actually sit down and figure out the line and tweak
it some and post it tommorrow.  The left hand part of the chicane is
ridiculous kerb-wise, I may actually have to tweak the dampers so it's
rideable (I have the car setup to be pushy as hell on kerbs so when
you hit one that's that obnoxious it tends to throw the car straight
which doesn't seem to be a good idea at that particular turn).

Why not? At that price who could turn it down? Besides, most of the mods out
right now are for F12002 and I was wanting to play the GTR2002 mod for the
GT cars.
