Yes, but will your CPU handle the best game??? I believe the winner is
IndyCar Racing. You really need at least a 486/25 with this game. But,
IMHO it cannot be beat. And the head to head play is by far the best.
World Circuit is second best. It does not have the graphics of ICR,
and as such, will run with a better frame rate. The F1 tracks that
are represented are VERY accurate. WC has modem play (h2h) too, but I
feel ICR is MUCH better in this respect. One draw back for me is the fact
that there is no engine sound from the computer cars. ICR has this & I feel
that the engine sound of the other cars only increase your situational
awareness. THis is important on a 14" flat screen! Bill Elliot Nascar
Racing.... BENC. Well the "open header" engine sound is awesome. Unfortunately
that is about it. The j-stick routines are screwed, and the replays feature
your cars as rolling blocks!!! If anyone wants my copy, let me know...
$15. Road & Tracks Grand Prix Unlimited.... It sucks! I cannot believe
that it is still selling for $45! Anyway it has no engine sound that any
sane person would recognize. It features a "track editor". THe resulting
tracks with the track editor are aprox 2x too big. THe best part of this one
is the***pit bitmaps, and the sound when the bottom of the car hits the pavement.
Other than that pass this one up. I guess I could let this one go for $15 too!
