Damn, did the average age on this ng drop to about 12
after this warez version was released?

You kids are really full of it...

Watch who you call a kid Mr. Stoehr. Enjoying a friendly in-joke doesn't
make us any younger or less responsible than we are.

Your assumption that the code is incomplete is pure speculation.  The readme
is dated 13th July, the exe is (or so i've read) version 1.00 and all the
known bugs that the team were reportedly working on before release are not
present.

Credits also claim it to be ver 1.0, but whether it is or isn't, it ain't gonna
be much different.  Wait til someone posts a review of the retail version b4 u
buy..

So - that just comes EASIER... :)
Besides, realistically I could only make up about 30 seconds.  That still won't
get me in the top 400 - maybe not even the top 500...I don't remember.

A bit of a sweeping generalisation - I don't see to many people
feeling "tarnished".

Many people say it isn't, but actually a quick search on Deja reveals
a discussion going on to the extent that although the version number
shows "V1.0" and the file dates are recent, the reasons for this may
be that the group that released this to the world hacked the software
to change the version number in order to get recognition from their
peers for releasing it first.

So it still seems possible that the version going around could be old,
with some difference in Friday's release version.

Cheers!
John
