I have bought Nascar Racing on 3.5" floppies, but depending on prices
and availability I might consider buying the Track Pack on CD. Does
this floppy+CD combination work? I'm going to install the new tracks
on HD (and not to use CD during playing).

It should work. The track pack CD installs all of the tracks onto the
HD anyway. (Bummer if you bought the CD game, and _don't_ want
the tracks on your HD)

Nascar Track Pack must be installed on your hard-disk.
