it's appalling, on my 1800+, dunno why?  Race Driver etc runs fine, is it
just too system hungry?

I don't think so.  I have a P4 2.4 and the game runs very well, actually a
little better, possibly, than other similar type games.

Check that you have vsync off.  Also, there have been some reports that FF
wheels cause excessive framerate hits.  You might try it using the keyboard
to see if there's any improvement.

From there you might experiment with some of the in-game options, like
shadows and stuff.

You haven't indicated what card you are using.

thanks for reply, its sorted.

For some reason, something was using 88% processor useage in background - i
rebooted and now its fine.

Infact, im very impressed? Is it same graphics engine as toca?  Im running
it on full detail at 1152 and its very slick.  The dust and damage effects
are stunning.  It's running in 5.1 too.
