IndyCar 1.05 Crack?

by Jim Ser » Wed, 17 Aug 1994 16:44:02

Anyone care to post the byte changees for the IndyCar crack for
version 1.05. I guess I forgot to write them down ( or better
yet save to a text file ) and I just re-installed IndyCar and
do not care to keep the manual out. No need to give me the
word to use, just the byte changes.

Thanks,
   Jim

BTW, did anyone who have bought the Track Pack in Europe notice that
the v1.05 that came with it DOESN'T HAVE a copy protection!!!
I wonder why ...

On a related note, I got the UK track pack yesterday, with the
v1.05 upgrade.

Installed it OK, and ran it. However, being used to typing in the
cracked word on 1.04, I did it without thinking, and the thing
let me in. I assumed it was coincidence, but then, later, I
decided to test it out properly, and typed 'ZZZ' as the password.
It _still_ let me in.... Have *** removed the copy protection
but not told anyone? Is this why the UK release was delayed so
long??

The new courses are excellent though (I'm not going to be able
to resist 2-player drag-racing on the airstrip :-), my only
niggle being the background graphics on the selection screen -
they look like they've been drawn by a different person to the
original ones (which I prefer).

Now all I need is a decent joystick....

Well, I need the word. I typed it in, but didn't work, I need to know if I'm
using the right one.  (and YES, I bought the game)

A wheel is nice.  Costs about 120$, but If you have the money, it helps a LOT.
