Paintkit NC2, I NEED HELP!!!!

by Josh Davi » Sat, 11 Jan 1997 04:00:00

I hate to waste anybody's time, but could someone help me. I am an
unintellegent computer person or maybe someone who is just incredible
stupid.  I need to learn how to "swap" cars like Nascar 1.  Be thourough or
just break the bad news to me that I either have to drive that ugly "96 car
or paint my own shitbox.

Please E-Mail me because I don't know when I'll be here again.

Thanks you most superior drivers.

You import/export pcx files the same as in Nascar1 (from the
paintshop).  You still need to have them named correctly and placed in
your Nascar2 folder.  For The Player, the file needs to be named
Xt_playe.pcx (X, the first letter of the first name, underscore, and
then the first 5 letters of the pact name).  You can export any of the
cars and rename it so you can import it to replace your car.

For anyone else experiencing the same trouble please refer to the

Josh, the easy fix would be to create a new entry list from the Driver
Info menu.  Put whatever car YOU want to drive first on the list; if
you're going to race over a modem, put your modem partner's car choice
second.  Then, add the other cars that you'd like in the list in any
order.  One comment about this- add the drivers you LEAST want to race
against at the bottom of the list; tracks that use smaller race fields
will drop drivers out of the entry list for that event, starting at the
bottom and working up.
