N99 -TM GP1 Problem UPDATE and other comments

Hey RAS Friends,

Thanks for the assistance on my TM GP1 steering problems !  What I did was
this:

        1. I downloaded both the TM Propanel AND the TM Diagnostic Scope
utility!
        2. I went to the Control Panel and Deleted the GP1 from the "Game
Controllers" box and then
             rebooted.
3.I then reinstalled the TM GP1 controller in W95 control panel,
recalibrated and then I tested it both
in the Propanel BOX AND the TM Scope.
        4. I then went to N99 Options and calibrated Joystick 1, I
definitely noticed that the wheel was more
"self-centered" than before. I then set the steering in the
"Set Controls" and had to do it several
times steering left then right then testing in the program .
THAT FIXED IT !

My obsession with running in Win 95 is that the sound is definitely better
and graphics appear better. In DOS, the only Sound card  I could get to work
was Soundblaster Pro mono and I had to turn the volume up to 3/4 or Full
before I could hear it!  The N99 3dfx graphics are a lot better that the old
N2 using
the Sierra beta 3dfx patch!  I'm having fun with the "new" tracks and
increased tracks. I'm assuming all setups will copy over except Truck setups
are *.ttg files! ?

I still have occasional screen freezes....the only solution I have heard is
to change graphics "objects"from yes to AUTO. Can anyone confirm this?

N99 definitely revived my interest in Sim racing especially since I don't
have the computer horsepower to run GPL with a decent FPS (i.e. above 20fps)
( I only have a HP P166with 32mb ram and a Voodoo 1 card)
