Fellas,

I know you have probably been asked this question about a million times
before, and you may have answered it and I missed it, but how much will
the fee be for the NRL?  Will it be based monthly or by usage?

It's not like it really matters, I will join anyway but it would be nice
to know.  If you can't release the actual numbers can you play higher
lower?  Will it be over or under $50?

Thanks,
Jason

Ed,

I hope when you set the pricing you will try to price it so that more people can afford
to play.  I used to only race 1 league race each week, about 1 hr of time.  My phone
bill still was over 100 dollars.  From checking the Hawaii stats, it is clear that some
people must be spending several hundred dollars each month to race on Hawaii.  These
people must be able to pay whatever it takes to play or they are willing to pay whatever
it takes to race everyday.  Please do not base your estimates on these people, because
there are probably a lot of people who would like to race more but cant shell out $6 -8
dollars an hour.  Im not asking for pricing info, Im just hoping it will be reasonable
and affordable.

Thanks,

Mark Roberts

We plan to have local access numbers around the country to take care
of the long distance issue.  I think you'll be pretty happy with the
pricing (but we're not ready to announce it yet).

Does this mean that you've got a deal inked with a carrier?

Groan!!!!!  I can' stand the waiting....

Is there any further updates you can give us Ed?  Reading through the
threads it seems that very serious progress is being made, some kind
of unofficial progress report would be a real gift <g>.  Anyway, keep
up the great work!  (That goes for Adam and Charlie also).

What about people who don't live in the cities????  Wouldn't an 800
number be better?

I REALLY doubt that I will have a local access # in my area. Since you
would have to cover 1 out of every 2 cities in america (not to mention
other countries) it would be impossible to make a local call for
everyone. HECK: I don't even get Compuserve and AOL is 2400 baud! So no
you won't take care of the long distance problem. Leaving millions of
customers out of luck. Or will there be a 1-800 #? And will it cost
more? how much more?

I hate to sound mean Ed, but I am really worried, because I've heard
the major differances between nas 1 and 2 is:

better grafics system
crew cheif
little things (paintkit inproved, better replays)
MOST of all: multiplayer (NRL)

w\ out the multiplayer part what is the point of getting part 2?

Please don't panic yet... just wait until we announce our provider &
then take a look at whether or not you'll have a local access number.

Still waiting for a UK version - at least it's easy to give everyone a
local call number over here <g>

Cheers,
Richard
