SP3, is it worth the while ???

Hi Ron

I'm not really sure why myself, but as I look at it, it's none of my
business.  Decency would dictate abiding by the author's wishes regarding
his works, whether we agree with him or not.  To ignore author's wishes
only serves to decrease, in the long run, the amount of add-ons that become
available to the general public.  Or we end up with pay-for-download
crappola like Racelane, but I ain't goin there.  :-(

I can also sympathize with the plight of our non-US internet users and
their by-the-minute charges for net access.  That must really bite!
However, programs such as Go!Zilla take that extra charge away.  Just
download when your are online in the normal course of events.  That's the
only way to go!  At 56K, that's how I handle my large downloads myself.

Hi John

From a legal standpoint, I think he's required to defend his copyright all
the time.  I don't think he can differentiate between the two.  But then
again, I'm only a lowly auto mechanic.  We got any legal eagles out there
for a ruling on this?  LOL

Well the question of defending copyright is clear cut.  Did someone copy
your work?  Yes?  Did they have your express permission?  No?  then they
have violated your copyright.  However, it is also within his rights to
expressly permit the copying and distribution of his work, and also
whatever terms and conditions he wishes.

: his web site.  Since it is his creation.  And if he did file ANY sort of

You don't need to file a copyright.  You just need to identify your
material as copyrighted.  All original work is inherently copyrighted.

Just for the sake of argument (devil's advocate etc), are all the pretty
images of the cars on James web site his own photos?  If so, he has
talent.  If not, does he have the permission of the original photographers
to publish them on his web site? :)
