Well i have now discovered differences in the cars...
McLaren is able to get away with less wing than other cars

Sijon, you are right. I am getting more and more puzzled by the reaction to
the GP3 release in this NG and on the High Gear Forums. If you compare GP3
with all the other competitors except the masterpiece GPL (which is *still*
ahead of its time), it is lightyears ahead. The dynamic weather system is
revolutionary and takes simracing one step closer to the e***ment of the
real thing. Most of the other things people criticise in GP2 are not the
result of bad programming nor do they want to "rip" you "off" - these are
design decisions. To everybody who is interested in GP3: get it and form
your own opinion on the game. You might be surprised. Don't cancel your
order just because some wacko feels like posting "GP3 sucks" and "25fps are
unplayable".

cheers,
Alex

Impossible... the Arrows will go just as fast and handle just as well as the
McLaren (for the player).

Nope... all cars act the same to the player, there is only one "player"
model. Like I said, it's a Crammond perogative.

I'm not up to date with the GP2 scene, but I'm pretty sure there are editors
that can be updated for GP3, which will allow you to tailor the car you
drive to it's real world performance relative to the AI cars. But then
again, say you do this for Arrows and you later switch to McLaren, you have
to edit the player model again. This time to simulate the McLaren.

Grand

Perhaps... Just perhaps your arguements were not considered
valid (but certainly well argued). Hence the moron thing...

have expected them to at least fix the flaws from gp2 (black
flags, revving, damage sensitivity, pre-determined mechanical
failures, tyre wear, just to mention a couple) which make the
single player game a joke, but they chose not to. It's not a
question of FPS (25 feels mightily fast, JLGP2) or whatever,
just "common sense" which not applied in this case.

Cheers,

Uwe

Nope. And it's not the only recent F1 game out there with the same
feature...

Hmmm.. that sux.. but i guess, with the disparity between the cars in RL, we'd
all be drivin Mclarens and Ferrari IF MULTIPLAYer worked!!

I hope you don't mean F12K, because in F12K it is a player's choice.
