I am setting up daytona to run with the trucks and was just wondering
what these files do.

thanks i've played around with daytona and have it working fairly well.
Trucks qualify around 190 for pole and race at about 193.

those are the default race setups and truck setups.  say you choose
ACE.stg for your race setup.  the default.tt1 keeps track of which setup
you used last so that you don't have to keep entering it everytime you
boot up.
You need all the .stg files and all the st1 files, but you need to
copy them and change the extension for trucks to .ttg and .tt1  .
Plus you need to add a few lines in the track txt file.  compare your
daytona track txt with your talladega track txt and you'll see the extra
lines needed.
