As you may have read, the European version of N4 has generic cars, not the 4
makes. This means we can't, in game, add the various car make decals.
According to a post on the Sierra forum, we Euros have to replace our
n4paintkit.rsc with an American one in order to do this. It's 12Mb, though,
so I can't ask if anyone would send it to me, but does anyone know of a site
where I can dl this?

I checked with Shawn Wise (Papy) this morning. I don't know where the original poster got
the info from, but Shawn said that just copying this file to the Euro N4 will *not* work. I also
asked about posting it...the answer was 'no'. ;] Copyrights, of course.

Well, the cars still have to be dled, but the paintshop now has the
appropriate decals for the 4 car makes. For the Americans, what we Euros
see, without the editing, is just a generic shading button, not the 4 car
makes that you see. So, even with this edit, it's not perfect, but at least
it makes putting these decals on a little easier. As for car shapes, I'm not
sure, someone else will have to tell me if they're shaped differently.

I should mention that our IWCCCARS crew is looking at adding their own
templates to the N4 game (so that when you stamp, you'll get an IWCCCARS
template, instead of the internal N4 one), I'm not sure if that is going to fix the
problem for the people that have none, but we'll see...
