I don't agree. Just name a few *simulators* with cheats and we'll
see...but honestly: I really don't know a game (besides GPL) what
can be called a simulator ;-)

You obviously haven't played Indycar Racing 1 and 2, Nascar Racing 1 and 2,
CART Precision Racing or even Superbike World Championship!

I think the AI in GPL is really first rate. You can actually see the
differences in the drivers. The other day I was in fourth place at
Mosport, holding up Bandini and Amon. Bandini, the more aggressive of
the two drivers, hounded me until he found an opening and blew by me
into the final sequence of turns (passing off-line with late braking).
Amon on the other hand, never took the gamble and I was able to hold him
off for the last ten or so laps. Great stuff.
Note: I am running with unmodified AI .ini files. For you guys who are
experiencing weird AI behavior, have you tweaked these files? Perhaps
the tweaks are causing the poor AI driving. Just curious.
