Best pedals for GPL?

by Arto Wik » Fri, 05 Feb 1999 04:00:00

Hi GPL gang,

my wheel and pedals feel quite good (some "EXL500"?), but one feature,
where I would like to have still more control is the accuracy of pedals.
As a matter of fact it is _quite_ good already, but for GPL that should
be perfect. Any recommendations? Is it at all possible to buy pedals
and wheel separately?

Arto

PS. And by the way, does there really exist any "exteremely" good
    wheel/pedals set for GPL?

CH (non-pro) rudder pedals work great with GPL, especially with a tennis or
racquetball duct-taped under the brake pedal for more car-like resistance.
They're both accurate and comfortable.  I don't know about the EXL wiring
hookups, but you could probably get them to work without much trouble.  Highly
recommended.

I just love seeing a reference to the ball trick since I invented it last year and
post it occasionally, glad it gets around and you enjoy it.
