> Shoulda bought a HYPERSTIM :)
No thanks, My F1 Sim will do just fine. It has broken a button, but that
button, and the rest of the wheel and pedals, have lasted almost daily
use (with GP2, GPL, Rally Masters, TOCA2, RC2000, etc) for the last two
years. So I think they have lasted really well, and a new PCB with new
buttons will keep it going for even longer.
The F1 Sim is an excellent wheel and pedal set-up. All steel
construction, F1 style shifters, adjustable pedal rake angle, adjustable
pedal ***, four (programmable) buttons on the wheel, quick release
Mountney type steering wheel. Pots and springs that are accurate and
last for ages. Spares are easy to obtain and easy to replace. And the
set-up *feels* great!
They have a new version of the F1 Sim at the makers website, go to:
http://www.racesimcentral.net/
And you can buy a full size replica simulator of a Lotus 49 for about
20k I think?
8-)
